Hotel "Palas" was built in 1933 during the mandate of Svetislav Tisa Milosavljevic, the first ban (governor) of Vrbaska banovina (Province of Vrbas). This is one of the buildings that makes Banja Luka very known and recognizable nowdays. It is situated at the main city square and is protected as a national heritage.
